The hero is making his way to 'The City' where he knows 'Ruth' will be waiting for him. Why he's making his way there, he's not entirely sure.
He faces many distractions and temptations to leave the path and he realizes that, in order to complete his quest, he will need the assistance of Freddie, the legendary tracker and guide, who is rumored to roam the wilderness.
As a debut novel it manages to keep the reader interested and even manages a nice twist at the end.

This novel was full of surprises! So interesting I couldn't put it down. I am a HUGE C.S. Lewis fan and this book is loosely similar to "The Lion, The Witch And The Wardrobe." There's a nice twist at the end. If you're looking for a good read or a Christian novel, I highly recommend this book.
